테라텍 프로듀서의 MIDI HUBBLE 은 미디인터페이스 (두개의 인풋과 두개의 아웃풋) 를 USB 허브에 묶어 3개의 USB 포트를 더 제공합니다. AC 아답터를 사용하면, 각각의 단자는 최고 500 mA (self-powered)의 파워를 제공합니다.
 
만약 연결된 주변기기가 그다지 많지 않다면, 굳이 어댑터를 연결하지 않으셔도 됩니다.
 
각 USB 포트에는 과전류 센서가 있어 LED 로 알려줍니다. 또 하나의 LED 는 미디 신호가 정상적으로 단자에 들어오는지 알려줍니다.
 
MIDI 섹션에는 작은 컨트롤 패널이 있어 LED 상태 필터 (자동센스) 를 세팅할수 있으며, 음악 소프트웨어를 사용하지 않을 때도 MIDI 인 -> 아웃 기능이 동작하여 굳이 프로그램에 들어가지 않고도 미디 인터페이스를 시용할 수 있습니다.

The idea is simple and brilliant: why not combine two frequently-used devices in a single, well-designed housing and save desk space?

The MIDI HUBBLE by TerraTec Producer combines a MIDI interface (two inputs and outputs each) with a USB 1.1 HUB to provide you with three additional USB ports. With an optional AC adapter, each of the ports provides a maximum current of 500 mA (self-powered).

If the connected peripheral device needs less, operating power can be drawn alternatively over the connection to the PC (bus-powered). In that mode, the ports deliver a maximum of 440 mA alltogether. Either way, nothing can go wrong, as the USB ports are equipped with electronic overcurrent control and status LEDs. Additional LEDs for MIDI activity indicate whether a signal is being applied to the port.



As an added extra, the MIDI section features a small control panel which can be used to set LED status filters (active sensing) or to configure the MIDI routing of inputs to outputs when no music software is accessing the device. Impossible connections are locked by default, so nothing can go wrong.
